Healthcare administrator, researcher, entrepreneur, and Founder & CEO of Prompt Health Group.
Ikechukwu Moses Okoye, known as Ike M. Okoye, has more than twenty-five years of professional experience across clinical practice, healthcare administration, and executive leadership. His work focuses on advancing quality, accessibility, and professionalism in healthcare delivery across Nigeria.
He began his healthcare career in the United States, working in clinical care as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Licensed Vocational Nurse. After returning to Nigeria in 2009, a personal family caregiving experience revealed the urgent need for safe, professional healthcare at home.
Ike believes the future of healthcare will be shaped by integrated systems of care that are accessible, preventive, person-centred, and delivered wherever patients need them.
He holds a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, an MBA, and an M.Sc. in Healthcare Administration. He is also pursuing doctoral studies in a health-related discipline focused on stronger healthcare systems and sustainable models of care.
His pioneering work helped position professional home healthcare as a trusted part of Nigeria's healthcare system, supporting older adults, children, people with chronic illness, and patients recovering after hospitalization.
His long-term vision is a healthcare system that is more proactive than reactive, more community-based than institution-centred, and more focused on prevention, dignity, and continuity of care.
It is about building better systems of care where clinical excellence follows the patient wherever they are.
